Kimi Kimi Kimi!

Japan last week

We all know what happened. Massive 8.9 scale quake hit the heart of japan on Friday.

I only read abt it when I wad surfing thru Cstoys and HLJ at abt 5.45pm on Friday.

This morning, on the papers, we see Japan after the earthquake with places on fire, a tsunami hit port and their efforts to prevent a Godzilla meltdown, literally.

Yes, I do feel sad. Not because it is the motherland of the most of my hobbies but because I am human.

Death tolls are rising, families missing and people are devastated. It doesn’t matter if they need it or not, we have Operation Lionheart yo lend them a hand along with some US soldiers…

The centre of attention is on Japan as many people join “1, 000, 000 to support Japan” on Facebook and #prayforjapan is on the rage on twitter.

So what abt the rest of the world?

All eyes are on Japan as their economy affects the world. They dodged a major hit to the industrial heartlands. And I’m pretty sure the government knows how to handle themselves.

But do we know where to channel our attention to? Should we really just be focusing on Japan?

It’s the same when South Korea was bombarded.

What abt places where ppl fought for yrs to finally gain independence? Or those in state of emergency?

I urge ppl to open up their eyes to watch what’s around them and not just let others lead the way…
