Singaporeans complain too much
A letter in the papers this morning from a pregnant lady talks about how other commuters are not being courteous enuff becoz she was denied of the priority seat…
I grew up in a generation without priority seats. With or without the labeling, nice ppl would give up their seats. Just too bad for this woman
Complain as much as you want, SBS will add more priority seats and ppl will STOMP those who are inconsiderate. But IMO, it’ll nv change the society.
A crowded bus ride is an excuse for an extra long hug with ur loved ones.
Sometimes I wish these ppl would wake up to reality and know that the world don’t revolve around them
What they said: In every generation, there are some soldiers who are less rugged
What they meant: In every generation, there are those who chao keng
What they say: They are going through the physical training phase
What they meant: Our army’s maids must match their physical fitness with our soldiers’
What they said: This doesn’t represent the real image of our army
What they meant: We wear digital green camou. The maid did not
What they said: Recruit owes up
What they meant: We arrowed somebody to take the blame
I get pissed off 2x in 1 conversation with u
Firstly it’s not that I don’t want to visit granny at the hospital. U guys don’t even call me when it happened.
Then ask why I nv visited her? Hello! Last night worker OT and only reached home at 11 leh…
Then ask me when I collect my salary, give some to granny…
Before this it’s rent my own fucking room, then pay my own phone bills. Now include give granny money.
No, I earned it. I decide what I do with it. I agree, granny needs money also, but what she wants most now is company. Can u guys provide that?
Stop using ur kids as a shield.

Japan last week
We all know what happened. Massive 8.9 scale quake hit the heart of japan on Friday.
I only read abt it when I wad surfing thru Cstoys and HLJ at abt 5.45pm on Friday.
This morning, on the papers, we see Japan after the earthquake with places on fire, a tsunami hit port and their efforts to prevent a Godzilla meltdown, literally.
Yes, I do feel sad. Not because it is the motherland of the most of my hobbies but because I am human.
Death tolls are rising, families missing and people are devastated. It doesn’t matter if they need it or not, we have Operation Lionheart yo lend them a hand along with some US soldiers…
The centre of attention is on Japan as many people join “1, 000, 000 to support Japan” on Facebook and #prayforjapan is on the rage on twitter.
So what abt the rest of the world?
All eyes are on Japan as their economy affects the world. They dodged a major hit to the industrial heartlands. And I’m pretty sure the government knows how to handle themselves.
But do we know where to channel our attention to? Should we really just be focusing on Japan?
It’s the same when South Korea was bombarded.
What abt places where ppl fought for yrs to finally gain independence? Or those in state of emergency?
I urge ppl to open up their eyes to watch what’s around them and not just let others lead the way…
